Those Darn Bragging Fishermen

I have realized something about fishing. When you run into anyone they always ask, catch anything. If you reply no they continue the conversation telling you how big the fish was that they caught and if it was a fighter or what bait they caught it on what time they caught it. If you are like me you would be thinking who cares i am just here to sit and do nothing all day. Anyways, if you answer yes, the person will then press you to tell them how big and all that good stuff about your fish. Then if your fish was smaller than their's they brag MORE about their fish. But if your fish was bigger they dont say too much about their fish.

Anyways what i am saying is that they only reason people talk to you when you are fishing is to brag about the fish they caught. Or how many they caught, or too see if you are doing better and if they need to move over closer to your spot. Also that fishing is the perfect sport for people who like to just sit and do absolutley nothing all day. Which is perfectly fine with me :)

Crazy Awesome

Seriously? How often have you fished "giant of the forest?" Welcome to the competitive world of "LIFE". That is all anyone cares about, if they have more or better than YOU.

Okay I totally get what you are saying, but my comment would be that people are like this in all aspects of life. All we do, all day is compete and compare with those around us. Most of us base how good our life is, by how bad somebody else's is. Hence the saying, "could be worse, you could be..."
